AddressVision announces release of DRS 9.01

AddressVision Inc., a provider of postal automation solutions, announced the general availability of the latest release of the organizations directory retrieval system (DRS) software solution. DRS is designed for the use on multi-line optical character recognition automation equipment. The solution enables companies to consolidate and assign 11-digit barcodes to mail pieces in compliance with USPS® guidelines to gain postage discounts.

AddressVision’s DRS 9.02.01.L meets the latest United States Postal Service® Coding Accuracy Support System (CASS™) and Multi-line Accuracy Support System (MASS™) cycle ‘L’ requirements scheduled to go into effect August 1, 2007. DRS 9.02.01.L includes support for DPV™ and LACSLink™.

“The USPS CASS and MASS programs have a history of requiring vendors like AddressVision to meet increasingly rigorous requirements for addressing accuracy with a goal of accurately automating more mail,” said Hank Martin, AddressVision’s OEM sales director.
