September 17, 2007
LACROSSE, Wisconsin --
AddressVision Inc. (AVI), a leading provider of postal
automation solutions, today announced the availability of
AddressServer, the new industry standard for addressing
solutions. AddressServer provides organizations of all
sizes a single integrated platform that delivers CASS™
certified address assignment, DPV™
and LACSLink™
processing at the point-of-entry.
AddressServer, utilizing AVI’s
CASS
certified Directory Retrieval System (DRS),
is able to accept input data in the form of plain text, or
as an image. AddressServer’s QuicKey option provides data
entry assist whereby addresses are validated with reduced
keystrokes and less time. The release of AddressServer
enables AVI to deliver the industries first fully-integrated
solution that provides organizations with a framework to
handle all of their addressing needs; local processing or
processing across the web, batch and transactional
processing, text input, image input (for organizations that
utilize an OCR to capture address data), and character input
(for organizations that capture address data in a data entry
environment).
AddressServer allows organizations to streamline their
business and optimize their postal discounts. By
consolidating all address solution needs into a single
integrated platform, organizations reduce overall management
time, the costs associated with postal automation compliance
in the United States, and drive higher postal discounts.
“To meet customer expectations for an integrated suite of
addressing solutions, we set aggressive implementation
milestones and delivered AddressServer in an accelerated
timeframe,” said Don Higbee, Business Unit Manager of AVI.
“This release demonstrates our commitment to be the leading
provider of addressing solutions to our customers and the
marketplace.”
The
capabilities of AddressServer enhance the productivity of
organizations that acquire data from multiple sources, as
well as ease the increasing demands of automation discount
standards of the United States Postal Service®. “Delivering
accurate and confirmed address information at the
point-of-entry and maintaining that accuracy is critical to
the success and on-time delivery of mail or product for
every business mailer in the United States,” stated Hank
Martin, AVI’s OEM Sales Director. “AddressServer represents
an exciting and ambitious solution which leverages the
