Presort Services Achieves Full Service Certification

Circleville , Ohio February 12, 2010 . With additional postage discounts for Full Service available from the United States Postal Service® (USPS®), Presort Services of Grand Rapids and Lansing , Michigan looked to take advantage of the savings offered. In September 2009 they started looking for a solution for Co-Mingled First Class Mail® that provided both airline routing and tray and pallet tracking capabilities necessary to meet the USPS Full Service requirements.

After looking at a variety of solutions, Presort Services chose Mail Automation Inc., of Circleville , Ohio (MAI). MAI provided their PostalOne!® USPS certified airline routing system with capabilities to capture tray information. In order to meet the electronic documentation requirement, MAI brought in AddressVision Inc. (AVI), who offered their Mail.dat® update program PRDAT, which works with Mail.dat files and data from the MAI system to update Mail.dat for USPS Full Service electronic documentation requirements.

The offerings from MAI and AVI enabled the capture of physical tray and pallet data for First Class Mail and the production of Pallet Placards , in compliance with Presort Services Customer Supplier Agreement for Grand Rapids and Lansing facilities.
